CBD Inhaler

The development of an innovative CBD inhaler can help change the perception that people have of CBD.

One of, if not the biggest challenge that the CBD industry faces today is convincing people that hemp and by especially CBD has medical benefits.

Artin Meschovik is a former professional half pipe skiier, and spent many years as an international back country cliff skier. During these two careers, Artin suffered numerous injuries, some of which ended being traumatic injuries. To deal with the pain, he was prescribed ample pain meds, including nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). He was later introduced to CBD for pain management.

Meschovik explains that he had been put under heavy NSAIDs use daily, and he was looking for alternatives to the pain meds. During his search, he was introduced to CBD mint, which proved to be very useful. He after that conducted a test by providing the CBD mint to other professional athletes he was working with, and they too experienced the CBD benefits.

In a recent interview, Meschovik talks about the latest product his company has produced, the CBD inhaler.

Creating CBD Inhalers

Meschovik says the inhaler aims to broaden their market by increasing their consumer base. By providing a meter dose inhaler, they allow their consumers to measure the CBD taken precisely. As such, consumers get to the exact amount of CBD, they are seeking. Importantly, consumers get a safer alternative delivery method.

Inhalers should be manufactured with FDA approved materials for ultimate quality assurance. Popular CBD inhalers come with over 500mg of high-quality CBD. Micellization is a process whereby the molecules are formulated into colloidal solutions. The process ensures the CBD is evenly distributed, which in turns provides that the inhaler users get the same quantity with every dose.

The CBD inhaler was made possible by the 2018 Farm Bill. Over time, we will see new and innovative mixtures, products, and other hemp uses to hit the market. Spilo products and the discussion we had were eye-openers as to where the hemp and the CBD market is headed going forward.

A Market In Its Infancy?

However, Meschovik saw an opportunity and understood the health and medicinal benefits of CBD and its ability to help millions. As such, he figured that make better quality CBD products that were offered in the market to target consumers who can benefit from the use of CBD.

However, Meschovik does recognize that there are challenges that need to overcome. For instance, given that the CBD industry is an ever-evolving industry labeling is continually changing. Accurate labeling, therefore, becomes a challenge. Our chosen manufacturer will pride themselves in going an extra step to testing the ingredients that come into their manufacturing facility. Importantly, the use of clear labeling on their products. We value companies who are committed to providing all the information their consumers need with regards to their products.

Furthermore, Meschovik identified the purity of CBD products as an issue. He says that when they ventured into the market, there very few molecular isolates on the market. Nanoparticles are molecules so small, that they are water-soluble. Moreover, even the limited products that were on the market tended to have impurities and metal content, which can be a health hazard to consumers.

To overcome this challenge, we set out to find high-quality molecular isolate products that are tested by third-party for safety, accuracy, and purity.

Growing A Reputable CBD Market

As more players using a similar business model enter the market, more people will inevitably start using hemp-based products.

Meschovik says that their company had felt like they could use botanicals to enhance the experience and effects of using CBD. As such, they started using essential oils in products such as vape pens. On the other hand, for their inhalers and consumables, they use full spectrum botanical extracts.

Importantly, they make use of organic and non-GMO ingredients. However, since there is no certification for natural CBD, they do not claim their CBD to be organic. Nonetheless, they strive to make high-quality products that are targeted to a specific benefit of using CBD.
